Comments: Dicker was born in Chichester in 1855. He was appointed to the Minor Canonry of St David’s cathedral, Hobart Tasmania and worked there for three years at which point he was appointed to the parish of Hamilton. Following the death of his wife, who had married in Tasmania, he returned to England in 1897 with his infant son. During his period in Australia he traveled throughout Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland
