ABOUT US

Scheding Berry Fine Art

Scheding Berry Fine Art was established by Stephen Scheding and the late Jim Berry, who had both worked for Clune Galleries in Macquarie Street, Sydney, and later for ‘30 Victoria Street’, a by appointment only gallery in Potts Point. These private galleries, operated by Frank McDonald from the 1960s, were pioneering in terms of researching and selling early Australian art.

We have now been operating in Paddington, Sydney, on a private, by appointment only basis for over 40 years, specialising in researching, writing about, advising on, and selling Australian Colonial, Impressionist, Edwardian and Modern paintings, prints and sculpture.

Scheding Berry Fine Art has one of the largest private research libraries of published material relating to Australian art. Our vast resource can be searched at www.artresearch.com.au (at no cost).
